SHAWL MINISTRY

The Shawl Ministry of FUMC New Braunfels is a group of ladies who knit or crochet prayer shawls for those who are going through difficulties or celebrating blessings. The group meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 2pm in the Parlor at FUMC. Finished shawls are passed around and prayed upon before they are distributed. Many are given to Sandy Hartman, the Wesley Nurse, for distribution to those ailing in our church family. Others are given out by Shawl Ministry members. UNITED METHODIST WOMEN

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the United Methodist Church.

General Meetings are held first Tuesdays at the church in the assembly room.

STEPHEN MINISTRY

MEN'S GROUP

Men of all ages are invited to meet for breakfast and a brief study on the third Saturday of each month. Join the men for breakfast at Granzin's BBQ in the back room from 8:00 - 9:00 am.

SMALL GROUPS

Small groups provide an opportunity for fellowship, Bible Study, and outreach in a comfortable setting with up to twelve people of similar ages, circumstances and/or interests. Small groups agree to learn to know God with their heads, love God with their hearts, and serve God with their hands. Meeting times and locations vary with each group. Contact Karen for information about being a part of small group ministries.

LIVE ALONE LADIES LUNCHEON

Eating alone is no fun! Join the Live Alone Ladies who like to eat out together! Once a month, Live Alone Ladies meet at a local restaurant for lunch and fellowship. If you are interested, please call Bobbie Allen at 625-4513 x116.
